Cuideachta de chuid LEADER / Comhpháirtíochta is ea Comhar na nOileán CTR do na hoileáin áitrithe amach ó chósta na hÉireann agus roinnt do cheantar Iarthar Chorcaí. Ghlac Comhar na nOileán freagracht ar LEADER, SST agus na cláir eile ó Chomhdháil Oileáin na hÉireann.
Bunaíodh an Chuideachta i 2008/2009 mar chuid den phróiseas chomhtháithithe faoi stiúir na Roinne Gnóthaí Pobail, Tuaithe & Gaeltachta. Bhí sé mar aidhm ag an bpróiseas cur i bhfeidhm na gclár ar fad a éascú don ghnáth dhuine agus cinntiú go bhfuil fáil ar na cláir ar fud na tíre.
Tá struchtúr an Chuideachta agus ballraíocht an Bhoird ag cloí leis na rialacháin ón Roinne Gnóthaí Pobail, Tuaithe & Gaeltachta.
History
Comhar na nOileán CTR is the LEADER / Partnership Company for the inhabited offshore islands of Ireland and part of the West Cork area. It took over responsibility for LEADER, RSS and other programme delivery’s from Comhdháil Oileáin na hÉireann.
The Company was formed in 2008/2009 as part of the cohesion process managed by the Department of Community, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs. The aim of the process was to streamline delivery of all programmes to the client on the ground and to ensure access to the programmes countrywide.
The structure of the Company and the membership of the Board of Directors in regard to representation and numbers from the four pillars was determined by the Department of Community, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs.
